Crush and Swing took turns bossing each other around from the age of two. They have since learnt to co-exist in harmony, and occasionally take part in embarrassing and exciting projects. Nobody can tell from their serene and calm fascades that they are capable of any tomfoolery.
They started the Merry Men because they are generous people, always sincerely wanting the (most part of the) world to like the music that they like. There will be no atas commentary from the Merry Men, only what is from their hearts.
Crush is a girl who has a strong distaste for inspirational songs and weepy women. If she was a merry man, she would sing in a falsetto goat-like voice like Marc Bolan. She is all for rhythm, but lyrics are just as important in song choice. When not looking for the soundtrack of her day, she is always busy printing things in Bugis or fixing things to be printed in Bugis.
Swing cannot bear to delete songs from her itunes because someone might want it from her someday. That’s how generous she is. She can make cream puffs and will let our readers try them in due time. If she could, she would be a rock star. But for now she’ll stick to hitting buttons on guitar hero. When she finds a song she likes, it’s usually on repeat for a few weeks. She wants to be a limbo rock champion some day.
